New Armored Truck by Tesla? Cybertruck For The Zombie Apocalypse?

Elon Musk just unveiled the Tesla Cybertruck, the company’s first electric pickup truck. There will be three versions of the Tesla truck — 250 miles, 300 miles, and 500 miles of range — with a variety of towing capacities and 0-60 mph capabilities. Tesla CEO Elon Musk unveiled the truck at a cyberpunk-inspired event with many, many lasers, and even a surprise ATV.

3 versions of the Tesla truck available:

  1. Single motor rear-wheel drive with 250 miles of range, 7,500-pound towing capacity, and 0-60 mph capabilities in under 6.5 seconds, for $39,900.
  2. Dual motor all-wheel drive with 300 miles of range, 10,000-pound towing capacity, and 0-60 mph in under 4.5 seconds for $49,900.
  3. Triple motor all-wheel drive with 500 miles of range, 14,000-pound towing capacity, and 0-60 mph in under 2.9 seconds for $69,900. (Though this version won’t start production until late 2022.)
In an effort to demonstrate the truck’s shatterproof windows, Tesla design chief Franz von Holzhausen smashed them with a heavy metal ball thrown at close range.

The braking system is one of the most important components of a vehicle. Without reliable brakes, drivers cannot safely stop, increasing the chances of an accident. Proper vehicle maintenance includes checking the brake pads and shoes, and replacing them as necessary. When buying brake disc pads and shoes, buyers should have a basic understanding of how brakes work, as well as the important differences between disc and drum brakes. Understanding How Brakes Work When drivers press the brake pedal, they engage the hydraulic system. This system forces fluid through a series of tubes and hoses that run from the brake's master cylinder to the piston, which applies pressure to the wheels and stops the car. Some brakes use a system of discs and brake pads to accomplish this, while others use shoes and drums. Most passenger vehicles have a combination of disc and drum brakes, with disc brakes attached to the front wheels and drum brakes attached to the rear wheels. Disc Brake...
